Tag Rugby Final at Luton Rugby Club 24 Mar 2009
On Tuesday 24th March the Tag Rugby Team took part in the final of the local Rugby Championship Cup held at Luton Rugby Club. Fifteen teams from all over the county battled it out to win the cup.
Russell team played really well, winning two matches and losing another which unfortunately meant we were knocked out before we got to the final. The children were a credit to the school, showing excellent determination and sportsmanship.
Well done to George, Charlie, Chad, Freddie, Matilda, Ellie, Alice, Sean, Tommy and Danny.
Once again we would like to say a big thank you to Nick Roberts, Lee Roberts and Wendy Roberts for giving up their time to coach the children.
Thank you also to all the parents and carers who came along to show their support.
