Music Concerts 13 Dec 2007
Location:Russell Lower School
Last week parents, staff and children attended two concerts performed by those Russell children who are learning to play an instrument.
On Thursday afternoon it was the turn of the string instruments and on Friday the brass musicians showed off their skills and progress. The children played a solo piece and then all together. There is certainly a lot of talent in the school.
Thank you to all the music teachers who come into school, Mrs Perry, Miss Thomas and Mr Halliday. Also a big thank you to Mrs Sherry who stepped in at the last minute to conduct the brass players when Mr Halliday was struck down with the flu! We wish him a speedy recovery.
