Maths Activity Day. 27 Feb 2008

Wednesday 27th February was a ‘Maths Activity Day’. The children moved between classes in their key stage to participate in a variety of practical maths activities exploring shape, measure, time and number.
In Key Stage 2 Miss Hope played traditional and modern games such as Snakes and Ladders and computer based maths activities. Mr Bowers held a Bingo showdown and Mrs Johnson had a class scrabble competition. In Mrs Pearce’s room the children were invited to design a tessellation pattern.
Both children and staff found it an enjoyable day. It just goes to show Maths can be fun!

Pictures from Penguin class can be found on the photo diary. link.
