Tag Rugby Festival. 26 Feb 2008
Congratulations to the year 3 and 4 children who took part in the Redborne SSP Tag Rugby Festival on Tuesday afternoon at Ampthilll Rugby club.
Competing against other schools from the Bedfordshire area the Red Team played their way to win each of their seven pool matches, going on to win the tournament 6-2 against Cranfield Lower school. Each child was given a medal for their achievement.
Both the “Russell Reds” and “Russell Blues” showed outstanding good sportsmanship all day.
They will go on to compete in the County finals to be held on March 13th.
