A dentist visits KS1

Alison Wingham and Joanne Quantrill visited KS1 on 20th March and gave an enlightening talk to foundation, years 1 and 2. They discussed how to clean your teeth and informed the children about plaque and how to identify it. All sorts of sugary foods were discussed and the visual aids were so useful with healthy and unhealthy foods being placed on a live or a dead tree. The most fascinating display was 7 cartons of popular drink each with the amount of sugar they hold, displayed underneath them. Did you know a small bottle of milkshake holds the most sugar?
