Victa writing Day.

RUSSELL LOWER SCHOOL
18th April 2016
I wanted to write to thank you all so much for donating to Victa on Friday and supporting such a wonderful charity. We’ve raised more than £300, which is incredible and I am very touched.
I also absolutely loved coming into Russell to help create a school newspaper. We all had an amazing day together and it was such a fabulous experience from start to finish. All your children really threw themselves into the day and I will treasure the memory of seeing their excited faces for a long time to come as they helped write, design and put their class paper together whilst the younger pupils got to experience how it felt to be blind with lots of fun activities.
Hopefully all the children went away feeling inspired and what was so lovely about the day was answering all their varied and fun questions. I literally would still be at the school now if they had their way – they came thick and fast! The most popular question was ‘had I interviewed Justin Bieber or One Direction?’ Sadly no (!) but I was bowled over by the breadth of questions they posed.
A fantastic day all round and thank you again for your support. It really means so much to me.
