LATEST GUIDANCE (SEPT 2020) - IF YOUR CHILD DISPLAYS COVID-19 SYMPTOMS
 
if your child displays the following symptoms, they should self isolate for 7 days (14 days for a household):

-       a high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)

-       a new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)

-       Loss of sense of smell or taste

-       Pupils and their families are eligible for testing pupils over 5 can access via 111 online and under 5 through 111 helpline.
