Italian Day

13th April 2015
On the first day back after the Easter Holidays Year 4 returned to enjoy Italian Day.  It was a fun filled day which kicked off with croissants and hot chocolate in the dining hall followed by a powerpoint presentation about all things Italian.  They participated in a number of activities during the day including making venetian masks and drawing volcanoes with pastels.  The day was finished off with some food tasting where the children got to sample some Italian cheese, salami and Parma ham.  Below are some of the photos for the day along with some of their write ups which they did in their literacy lesson. The day was a great success and the children really enjoyed the introduction to their new topic.
