Redborne Teaching Partnership
Russell Lower is working with Redborne Upper to povide teacher trianing locally.
Redborne Upper School is a Lead Partner for initial teacher education (ITE). We are able to offer the right candidates a very local opportunity to train to teach via our postgraduate courses which we offer in partnership with the University of Bedfordshire. The courses are based on the skills schools are looking for in early career teachers (ECT) and last for one year full-time, or two years part-time resulting in qualified teacher status (QTS), the award of a postgraduate certificate in education (PGCE) and 60 Masterās-level credits.
We have a well-established programme for those training to teach in secondary schools and we also have a programme in place for those who wish toĀ train to teach in the primary phaseĀ with placements offered in our own pyramid of schools in Flitwick, Ampthill and Maulden.
